This project was commissioned by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and involved the construction and installation of solar energy infrastructure across designated communities in the Niger Delta region. TSN Limited was responsible for the full scope of works including site preparation, structural mounting systems, solar panel installation, inverter and battery storage setup, and electrical wiring to deliver reliable off-grid and hybrid solar power solutions to underserved areas.
The NDDC solar project required careful planning and execution to deliver sustainable energy solutions suited to the unique environmental and logistical challenges of the Niger Delta region. TSN Limited deployed galvanised steel mounting structures designed to withstand coastal humidity and high wind loads, with solar panels positioned for optimal sun exposure. The installation included high-capacity inverters and lithium-ion battery banks to ensure consistent power supply during periods of low sunlight and at night.
TSN Limited ensured full compliance with renewable energy installation standards throughout the project, implementing rigorous quality control at every phase from equipment procurement to final commissioning. The completed solar installations provide clean, reliable electricity to communities that previously had limited or no access to the national power grid, contributing to the NDDC's mandate of sustainable infrastructure development across the Niger Delta region.
